Teresa's eclectic repertoire consists of a wide range of styles--from patriotic and spiritual, fiddle tunes and classical, cowboy to Christmas. She includes songs from the Kansas prairie, to the Appalachian highlands, and all the way to the Celtic isles. Teresa is an enthusiastic performer who plays solo, or accompanies herself with the mountain and hammered dulcimer, clawhammer- style banjo, and mandolin. Her vocal style is reminiscent of the plaintive ballads of the 1960's folk singers. She alternates between the choir soloist and the down-home sound of the old string band songsters. |
